Narrative:
My interpretation of the classic album cover of Purple Rainby Prince. Square in composition to mimic the cover artwork it is an abstract take on the iconic image of Prince sat on his motorbike surrounded by smoke and shadows. This style is a continuation of the silhouette style that I have built up and is a combination of abstract markings, smoke, bokeh and musical staves and notes. The aim being to create something abstract and engaging with intense colours and that is big on detail with the aim of doing justice to such an iconic artist.
